We all know the next Xbox will boast many performances and have many additional features but recently, in the final issue of Xbox World Magazine, the editor in chief leaked some additional details about the next-gen Xbox of Microsoft.
According to Dan Dawkins via CVG, the upcoming next-gen console will feature a Blu-ray drive, directional audio, a TV output and input, an “innovative controller” (could this be the new Kinect?) and even AR glasses. Final specs has not been confirmed but we know that the actual developer kit for the Xbox 720 “Durango” is equipped with a CPU loaded with four hardware cores, each divided into four logical cores along with 8GB of RAM.
The actual image we have are some 3D detailed mock-up of what the Xbox 720 could looks like, based on the actual information we have. The render has been done by Xbox World also.
“We built ours with the same glossy face and patented VapourMG magnesium alloy Microsoft uses for its Surface tablet, and modelled the silver band after its new ‘Wedge’ touch keyboard and flexible Arc Touch mouse,” he added.
As soon as we have more information, we will let you know! For now, stay tuned for the upcoming CES 2013!
